Heirloom Seed Catalogue
The Heirloom Seed Catalogue was a constrained brief with a page limit, a fixed content structure, and a hypothetical seed company to design for.
Every page carries a fun fact about the vegetable whose seeds are being sold, placed within the ten to fifteen percent of white space carved out deliberately on each spread. A catalogue that lists seeds also teaches the person reading it something about them. That balance between information and discovery ran through every layout decision.
The color palette, the typography, and the illustration elements were built to feel clean and grounded; the kind of design that earns trust before a word is read. Rounds of iteration made sure every requirement of the brief and every design standard set internally worked together on the same page without either compromising the other.
